School crossing patrol saved!

 After an appeal letter from the Academy and 199 signature petition from parents to Bristol City Council, it has been confirmed that for now the school crossing patrol which had been earmarked to be cut, has been saved.  We have not had it confirmed yet how long funding will be allocated, but are confident that at least for the remainder of the school year it has been saved.  We will of course keep you updated on any further news, but thank you for your support.  It does make a differen

"Silver" Arts Mark has been awarded by the Artsmark Arts Council for England

The Arts Council for England assessment panel advised:

"The panel was impressed by your continuing commitment to the value of the arts, evidenced in provision you already had in place, such as your Shakespeare for Schools involvement and your annual art gallery show. Likewise, you clearly recognise what the arts can do for the curriculum as a whole......."

Fabulous feedback received regarding the Shakespeare workshop @ the Trinity Centre on 2nd Oct. Well done to all those involved........
